Portola Springs Community Park

Irvine, CA

A true wonder with sweeping views of Loma Ridge and vast expanses of protected open space, this 32-acre Portola Springs Community Park is the central activity space for the Portola Springs community. The community park’s relationship to the adjacent open space creates a dynamic blend stemming from the site’s historical and Native American background. This park features an approximate 12,000 square foot LEED Silver Community Center with Native American Wing surrounded by a native garden, softball fields, soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, volleyball court, children’s play areas, concession and restroom facilities, and open turf play areas. Perched on a terrace the Community Center backs into views of the valley below. The community park offers residents an opportunity for active recreation and family picnics with the open space as an informal background.
