The new Riverside Main Library is much more than an inventory of books. This project is the first phase in the downtown core that will invest in Riverside’s social infrastructure. Capturing views of nearby Mount Rubidoux from the upper-level roof terrace, it uses large boulders and shade trees to strengthen this site’s connection to the nearby landmark. The ground floor plaza is designed to be a flex space to accommodate a variety of events. We’re so pleased to see this collaboration with Johnson Favaro come to life.
