Where do we draw the distinctions between a built landscape and a work of art? Art can add to a built landscape, define it and in some cases create it. So what influence do we as landscape Architects have on public art? How can we use art to enhance our designs and create truly unique and memorable spaces? This TREK aims to address these questions with three case studies in three European Cities.
Goals:
• to better understand the relationship between art and landscape
• to study how those relationships influence a site and its users
• to implement unique artistic elements into future projects at EPTDESIGN.
