EPTDESIGN is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our leadership team with the promotion of Steve Burkel to Principal!
Steve has developed a diverse portfolio of projects throughout California and abroad across all spectrums of type and scale including education, parks, retail, high-end, and mixed-use residential. Steve particularly enjoys the challenges and complexities of high density, large-scale projects with a strong focus on design and creating unique, artful spaces.
Steve is fueled by a creative spirit; passionate about music, art, and all things crafted, he brings a unique and artful approach to each of his designs. Having also played sports most of his life, he thrives in the collaborative team environment that comes with large scale, complex site development projects. Steve has been with EPTDESIGN for nearly a decade, during which he’s lead some of the most complex and challenging projects for the firm including recently the 93-acre expansion of Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley and the 30-acre AMD Campus redevelopment project in Sunnyvale.
