The Design & Media Arts Center, located along Washington Boulevard and Grand Avenue, will serve as a statement for the identity of the existing campus. Situated at the north end of campus, the site provides a welcoming gateway for the entrance. The design, which includes an amphitheater, faces the large informal plaza with a raised platform that acts as a stage, creating an inspiring outdoor space, providing new opportunities to host events. A series of walkways enhance existing courtyard spaces and accommodates connections to different areas of the campus. Promoting energy and vibrancy, the design represents the Design and Media department with bold forms, vibrant patterns, and programming to support a variety of events.
