EPTDESIGN is pleased to announce the team from BORDER Landscape Architecture has joined our practice. Led by founder Duane Border, the Los Angeles-based landscape architecture studio brings a complementary design perspective and broad experience across commercial, mixed-use urban infill, hospitality, education/institutional, and nonprofit work.
Their addition marks an exciting next step for EPTDESIGN, creating new opportunities to collaborate, explore ambitious ideas, and expand what we can bring to our clients and communities. Building on more than 60 years of design and relationships, we see this growth as an opportunity to strengthen what we do while continuing to push our practice forward.
BORDER has built a body of work rooted in the restorative qualities of landscape and the romance of the modern garden. The studio’s work spans a range of project types and scales, creating thoughtful landscapes that balance contemporary design with an enduring connection to nature.
Duane brings decades of experience in the field and a longstanding commitment to the landscape architecture profession. His leadership has extended beyond the studio through his involvement with the American Society of Landscape Architects, including serving as president of the Southern California Chapter and as a member of the ASLA Annual Conference Education Committee.
As a 100% employee-owned practice, EPTDESIGN continues to look toward the future with an emphasis on thoughtful growth, strong design, and opportunities for its people to flourish. Welcoming Duane and the BORDER team broadens our range while strengthening our foundation.
