EPTD is excited to welcome back Matt Lysne as our Technical Director. A natural problem solver, Matt has over 20 years of experience finding creative design solutions for complicated site conditions. In the course of his career, he has worked on a wide range of landscapes, including parks, commercial, academic, and mixed-use. In his earlier tenure at EPTD, Matt provided project leadership on Hercules Creative Campus, Cedars-Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion, and the USC Catholic Caruso Center. He has also worked on numerous well-known projects in California including professional sporting venues, amphitheaters, and cultural centers. Matt’s work has been recognized for design and technical excellence.
As our Technical Director, he will provide guidance on detailing, state and local codes, oversee quality control/quality assurance reviews, and will serve as a firm-wide mentor and leader.
