Formerly the site of a Sony manufacturing facility, River Oaks Park is a crescent-shaped public park serving both the Crescent Park apartments that surround it and the greater (and rapidly expanding) San Jose region. Recreation opportunities divide the site into active and passive zones. Tennis, basketball, children’s playground, picnic areas, and a generous lawn for pick-up games make up the active zone while a trail meanders through a grove of saved Coast Redwoods and a majestic Valley Oak tree in a quiet riparian zone.
Muwekma Park is a 6.5-acre public park located in the heart of Silicon Valley. EPTDESIGN led the design process for the park which included a Public/Private partnership between the City of Sunnyvale and The Irvine Company.
