“There are a few plants we’d like to replace.” This was the opening conversation of what became a deep garden renovation for a hillside home recently purchased by our client. The house, was in the midst of a deep renovation itself. Doors and windows and every surface and system were being upgraded under the direction of Thomas Pheasant.
It quickly became evident that we’d need to do more to the garden than replace a few plants for it to rise to the standards and beauty of the home. The clock was ticking, but in the end the gardens were completely pulled apart and put back together to create a composition of serenity underpinned by quality.
