Tai Goto served as senior landscape architect on domestic and international projects including parks and recreation, campus facilities, master planned communities, retail, and federal facilities. He is especially passionate about creating places that engage people, demonstrated in his park designs and through his many Disney World projects. Tai’s ability to alternate between right- and left-brain thinking, balancing artistic expression with technical accuracy, serves him well when moving from a large 1200 acre community master plan like The Preserve in Chino to the intricately detailed design work of a Magic Kingdom project. As the master landscape architect for The Preserve, Tai designed the parks, community center and streetscape. The Preserve won the Gold Nugget Grand Award and was named as one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People” by America’s Promise Alliance, a group dedicated to reducing high school drop out rates and provide outstanding service and support to our youth. Tai manages projects from their initial design concepts through construction implementation for smooth coordination and impeccable built work. Prior to joining EPT
DESIGN, Tai worked with EDAW, Inc. (Irvine) and AECOM Technical Services (Southern California Division).
