On the site of an obsolete Sony manufacturing facility, this high-density residential development in San Jose meets the local Build It Green sustainability measures. A five-acre public central park provides views and a place to gather, recreate, and relax for the 1700 apartments. Mature Redwood, Alder, and Cottonwood trees were preserved along River Oaks Parkway and incorporated into the park and neighborhood streets. Each of the five buildings has its own unique architecture and landscape style to aid wayfinding and create a strong sense of place for residents. Swimming pools, spas, the public park and proposed retail along Zanker Road provide all the comforts to make this neighborhood a home.
